Are you a detail-oriented and empathetic HR professional passionate about ensuring smooth daily operations and fostering a positive workplace? We're looking for someone that has extensive experience in people operations, building the function efficiently and creating processes that stick. If you combine that with some experience as a business partner to join our team and manage our HR processes, ensuring everyone feels valued and supported. 

This role is crucial for strengthening our people ops function, where you'll be responsible for the excellence of our day-to-day HR tasks across the employee lifecycle, including meticulous payroll processing, seamless onboarding, accurate administration, and proactive employee support. All of this in the vibrant environment of a scale-up with an international team, where your hands-on contribution directly impacts our team's well-being.

Key responsibilities:

  • HR Operations: Execute and maintain all daily HR operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with best practices and legal requirements.

  • Talent Management: Lead and refine our end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes. Responsible for Compensation and Benefits administration and development.

  • Employee Experience: Proactively support initiatives that enhance employee engagement and wellbeing. Serve as a go-to person for employee questions and concerns, connecting with individuals to understand and respond to team dynamics and 'undercurrents' to foster a healthy and happy team environment.

  • Performance & Development: Implement and manage robust performance management processes and build learning and development programs.

  • Strategic Partnership: serve as a key operational support and trusted point of contact for employees regarding HR processes and questions. Escalate complex or sensitive issues to the leadership team as needed.

  • Systems: Support the implementation and optimization of HR systems and tooling, contributing to a scalable and flawless administration and people operations.

Job requirements

We're Looking for Someone Who:

  • Is a true 'people person' with high empathy and a caring character, who genuinely enjoys connecting with colleagues and understanding team dynamics.

  • Has 3-5 years of hands-on experience in an HR Operations role, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail..

  • Knows their way around Dutch employment laws and HR best practices.

  • Loves solving complex problems and can keep things organized.

  • Thrives in building inclusive, engaging, and high-performance workplace cultures.

  • Can think big-picture strategically while still getting things done on a day-to-day basis.
