Product Manager

We are looking for a Product Manager, who wants to work on a greener world together with Google, Waze, Apple and Tesla, to join our dynamic team. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of our dynamic and pricing data products, shaping the future of EV charging information. Your challenge

As a Product Manager, you will talk to customers, collaborate with stakeholders and analyse our data to help steer the direction of our products. You will be joining the Dynamic Data team, which is responsible for the following of our data products:

• Pricing (what does it cost to charge);

• Sessions and dynamic data (is a charger occupied, out of order or available);

• National Access Points (governmental open data sources, with regulations on compliancy with data sharing directives);

• Incoming data interfaces.

These products interact closely with some of our other data products, like Location Data, therefore it’s crucial to develop an understanding beyond the scope of just your team. Some of the things you could be working on: implementing real-time sessions, working on a new service to support Charge Point Operators (CPOs) supplying data to National Access Points for regulatory compliance, realizing a dynamic pricing data pipeline and service, and prioritisation of the creation or fixes of incoming interfaces.

To succeed in this role, a passion for data products is crucial. It’s essential that you’re willing to be hands-on because then you can really understand the domain and the inner workings of our systems. 

Responsibilities

Strategy & Discovery

• Talk to customers to figure out the most important problems to solve.

• Help the product team to articulate a product vision supported by quantitative and qualitative data.

• We expect you to foresee the impact of potential product decisions, but also zoom out to see how they affect the big picture.

Delivery & Cross-Team Collaboration

• Help the engineers and your team members deeply understand our customers and their needs so they can make great product decisions.

• Collaborate with one or more teams, including the commercial and data teams, to scope the work and set priorities. 

• Develop the quarterly roadmap and collaborate with other departments to successfully deliver these solutions to our users.

Translating Market Knowledge into Technical Solutions

• Must develop a deep understanding of our data structure, systems, microservices, APIs, how data is being consumed by our clients and what the data means in the real world;

• Perform initial research and investigation. You should feel comfortable querying data to explore what might be possible and understand what isn’t (immediately) possible;

• Challenge our engineers to develop the simplest solutions possible (and expect them to challenge you back!).

• At least 3 years of experience in Product Management;

• Experience working with software development teams;

• Strong ability to collaborate across teams and effectively set priorities based on stakeholder input;

• Passion for solving real-world problems with data and continuous learning;

• Team Spirit: Accountable, an effective communicator and a true team player;

• Experience and interest in the electric vehicle charging market is a plus.
