Senior Technical Data Analyst

We are looking for a highly motivated and hands-on Data Analyst, wanting to work on a greener world together with Google, Waze, Apple and Tesla, to join our dynamic team. As a Data Analyst, you will be at the heart of our data-driven decision-making process, performing critical data analysis, building machine learning models, and supporting various data-related initiatives across the company. Your challenge

As a Technical Data Analyst, you will analyze our data, provide actionable insights to steer our data initiatives and review the feasibility for future data-products. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data services, optimize processes, and set data benchmarks. You’ll also support in monitoring data quality, develop predictive models, and ensure that data is effectively used to further improve our products, while continuously enhancing your own data skills and the capabilities of the team.

Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Benchmarking

• Conduct in-depth analysis of datasets, identifying patterns, trends, and actionable insights;

• Compare external datasets to uncover data gaps and discrepancies;

• Establish data benchmarks for ongoing tracking and reporting;

• Perform feasibility studies for new products and features, comparing internal data with external sources and combining various data sources for new feature development. 

Data Science

• Build and refine machine learning models to perform predictive analysis for future products;

• Support the transition of predictive microservices from R to Python.

Project Oversight & Cross-Team Collaboration

• Act as a bridge between data engineering, product, and business teams, ensuring alignment on data-driven projects;

• Define data warehouse (e.g. BigQuery) and pipeline requirements and prioritize initiatives;

• Mentor internal teams, fostering a culture of data literacy and upskilling across the organization.

Data Quality & Monitoring

• Develop and maintain monitoring systems to track data quality, ensuring accurate and reliable data for decision-making;

• Set up alerting systems for detecting anomalies and inconsistencies in data.

• Proven experience in data analysis and data science, including machine learning models and predictive analysis;

• Strong coding skills in Python;

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform;

• Familiarity with data warehouses, engineering practices and tools (BigQuery, data pipelines);

• Strong ability to collaborate across teams and communicate complex data findings effectively;

• Passion for solving real-world problems with data and continuous learning;

• A combination of high-level thinking and willingness to get hands-on and dig into the data;

• Experience and interest in the electric vehicle charging market is a plus;
